Dad's tips for adding life to a daughter's years
If you’re having a difficult time with your daughter, look on the bright side… at least she’s not running around with vampires and werewolves.
Stand over her crib at night and watch her sleep. This is when life starts to make sense.
Record your voice singing a lullaby or reading a book for her to listen to while you’re away. You can still be part of her bedtime routine even when you can’t be in her room at bedtime. Thank you for your sacrifice.
Teach her how to ride a bike. Once the training wheels come off, get out there and explore the world together.

In those rare moments when one or both of you find yourself at a loss for words, never underestimate the power of simply standing together in silence.
