Dad's tips for adding life to a daughter's years
I get a lot of emails from dads and daughters. Sometimes they make me smile. Sometimes they make me hurt for the person on the other end. But… I always feel honored when someone is willing to share a page or two from their father daughter story with me.
As we make our way toward Father’s Day (sure, we gotta honor Moms first, our day is just around the corner too), I want to do something special on the blog this spring.
I want to publish short notes from daughters to their dads and dads to their daughters. If you’re interested in having a note published, please email it to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can either type your note directly into the email or you can scribble it by hand onto whatever paper you have handy (my preference), snap a picture of it with your phone, and send me a JPEG. Like I said, my preference is handwritten but either way will work. Notes of gratitude and/or encouragement will be the most likely to get published.
My plan is to publish as many notes as possible on the blog between now and June 15. Then, on Father’s Day, I have a special surprise planned for everyone who submits something.
Thanks in advance and let me know if you have any questions.
